How do I care for a leather sheath?

Wipe clean, condition periodically with a quality leather oil, and avoid storing the knife in the sheath long-term in damp conditions.

Pull-the-Dot Retention

Most TRC sheaths — Kydex and leather alike — are secured with a Pull-the-Dot snap: a directional fastener that resists lateral pull and only releases when the strap is lifted from the correct angle. The knife stays locked during carry, regardless of sheath material.
